The historic Carpenter's Bluff Bridge spans Red River and links Grayson County to Bryan County, Oklahoma. It was built in 1910 to allow trains, wagons, pedestrians and horses to cross for a toll. The bridge was deeded to Grayson County in the 1960s, and renovated for automobile use. It was a one-lane bridge with the old wooden walkway hugging it on one side until 2017 when a new bridge was built. There are plans to repair the old historic Carpenter Bluff Bridge for Pedestrian traffic.
